Boasting the longest wingspan of any living bird at up to 3.5 meters, the Wandering Albatross glides effortlessly over the Southern Ocean. These white-bodied seabirds spend most of their lives airborne, only landing to breed on remote subantarctic islands. They can travel thousands of kilometers in a single foraging trip.
