American Crow

Entirely glossy black with a sturdy bill and fan-shaped tail, the American Crow is one of the most intelligent birds in the world. Found across nearly all of North America, it thrives in habitats from wilderness to downtown. Crows use tools, recognize individual human faces, and hold apparent funeral gatherings around their dead.
