Pica pica

With its striking black-and-white plumage and long iridescent tail that flashes green and blue, the Eurasian Magpie is hard to miss. Widespread across Europe and Asia, it adapts well to cities, farmland, and forests. It's one of the few non-mammal species known to recognize itself in a mirror.
